Quotes, deposits, scheduling, warranty and cancellation, in plain language.
These terms govern your use of frostwoodkitchens.com and set out the general basis on which Frostwood Kitchens quotes and performs work. They do not replace the written contract you sign for a specific project; where the two differ, the signed contract wins.

Using this website
The content here is provided for general information. Photographs show completed Frostwood installations and representative interiors; finishes, hardware and layouts vary by project. Nothing on this site is an offer capable of acceptance.
Quotes and pricing
- Prices shown in the budget guide are ranges, not quotes. They assume a 12–14 linear foot kitchen supplied and installed, and exclude HST.
- A written quote is valid for 30 days from its issue date.
- Quotes are based on the measurements taken at the in-home visit. Concealed conditions found after demolition — knob-and-tube wiring, rot, out-of-plumb structure — may require a written change order.
Deposits and payment
Unless your contract says otherwise, payment is staged: 40% on approval of final drawings, 50% on delivery of cabinetry, and 10% on completion of the punch list. Deposits secure your slot in the shop schedule and cover materials ordered specifically for your project.
Scheduling
We provide written dates for demolition, delivery, stone templating and installation. Dates can move for reasons outside our control, including material supply delays, municipal inspection availability and severe weather. We will tell you as soon as we know.
Warranty
- Cabinet boxes, doors, drawer boxes, hinges and runners: warranted for as long as the original purchaser owns the home.
- Painted and laminated finishes: five years against peeling, blistering and delamination.
- Installation workmanship: two years.
- Not covered: normal wear, damage from water leaks or excessive humidity, damage caused by others, natural variation in wood grain and stone, and any product modified after installation.
Stone, appliances and plumbing fixtures carry their manufacturer's warranty, which we register on your behalf.
Cancellation
You may cancel in writing before cabinet production begins; your deposit is refunded less the cost of materials already ordered and design time incurred. Once production has started, deposits are non-refundable because the components are cut to your dimensions.
Intellectual property
Drawings, renderings and shop drawings prepared by Frostwood Kitchens remain our property and may not be used to solicit competing bids without our written consent. Site content, photography and the Frostwood name and logo are protected.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada applicable in it. Any dispute is subject to the courts of Ontario.
