Privacy policy
What we collect, why we collect it, and how to ask us to delete it.
Frostwood Kitchens ("we", "us") operates frostwoodkitchens.com. This policy explains what personal information we collect, why we collect it and what we do with it. It is written to meet our obligations under Canada's Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA).

What we collect
- Information you give us. Name, phone number, email address, postal code, project type, budget range and anything you write in the message field of our quote form.
- Information collected automatically. Standard web server logs including IP address, browser type, referring page and time of visit.
- Site measurement data. If you consent to analytics cookies, aggregate data about which pages are viewed and for how long.
Why we collect it
- To respond to your quote request and book an in-home measure.
- To prepare drawings, pricing and contracts for work you have asked us to do.
- To keep records required by Canadian tax and consumer protection law.
- To improve the website and understand which services people are looking for.
What we do not do
We do not sell, rent or trade your personal information. We do not send marketing email unless you have specifically asked for it, and every such message carries an unsubscribe link as required by Canada's Anti-Spam Legislation.
Who else sees your information
Only the people who need it to complete your project: our designers, our shop, our installers and, where the scope requires it, the licensed electricians, plumbers and stone fabricators working on your job. Each is bound by confidentiality obligations. We may also disclose information where required by law or by a valid court order.
How long we keep it
Quote enquiries that do not lead to a project are deleted after 24 months. Records for completed projects are retained for seven years, which is the period our warranty and Canadian tax rules require.
Cookies
The site uses functional cookies necessary for it to work, and may use analytics cookies to measure traffic. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings; the site remains usable without them.
Third-party services
We embed a Google Maps frame on our contact section and load web fonts from Google Fonts. These services receive your IP address when the resources load. Their handling of that data is governed by Google's own privacy policy.
Your rights
You may ask what personal information we hold about you, request a correction, or ask us to delete it. Write to info@frostwoodkitchens.com or call 647-781-1172 and we will respond within 30 days. If you are not satisfied with our response you may contact the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada.
